19 Oct 2005My due date but still no sign. Still working.
22 Oct 2005
I am 3 days overdue. Met with my gynae, Dr. Krishen, at SMC. To our surprise, my urine has signs of protein and my bp is quite high about 140/80. Dr. gave me medicines called Labetalol to reduce my bp. He said if my bp is still high then I have to deliver immediately to deter difficulties.

Am 5 days overdue. Dr. checked my bp. Still high! I was about to cry when Dr. Krishen comforted me saying that it is okay. He checked whether I was favorable for induction. I wasn't. So the next option would be deliver the baby thru Caesarian. So, he scheduled me to have a Caesarian the next day at 12pm.

25 Oct 2005Very nervous.
10.30am:
Went to Admission Room to register myself in and to pay the deposit.
11.15am: Escorted to my room with my hubby at 3rd floor (Room 319).
11.30am: Nurses came in to prepare me for surgery. Then, transfered me from my room to the OT at second floor. Very very nervous. At the second floor, Dr. Lee introduced himself. He will administer the epidural. Everyone in the OT was busy preparing.
12.00pm: Dr. Lee asked me to sit on the bed and injected anaesthetic into my spine. After that, i can't feel my feet at all and I saw Dr. Krishen near my tummy. So i said to myself this is it. My heart was pumping very fast. Dr. Lee put a piece of cloth in front of me so that I couldn't see or the right word would be hysterical when I see blood. My hubby sat next to my head and held my hands. I think my grip was stronger than his (too nervous). I could smell the blood. My hubby could see anything behind the cloth. He was telling me a lot of blood coming out. Not a pretty sight he said to me.
12.20pm: Selina Hester Tahing was born. My hubby went to see her and brought her to me. She opened her eyes and looked at me. I felt relieved everything is over. But it is the first day of my confinement. Another 29 days to go! Hehehhehe!
