Calling all Ex-Franciscans

Hi, if you attended St. Francis Convent schools (kindergarten, primary or secondary), then you are an Ex-Franciscan. I had a brief conversation with Dayang Zauyah Ali Akbar with regards to Ex-Franciscans' Association and she told me that the association was revived in 1998 and to date there are only 200+ ex-Franciscans registered as members. The objective of this association is to gather all ex-Franciscans under one association and also to assist the schools (under St. Francis Convent) be it in terms of support, building fund and so forth. For your information, the SM St Francis Convent is in dilapidated state. The board has identified one land (next to SFC Primary School) in Bukit Padang as the location to build the new SM SFC. A couple of weeks ago (January 2008), the Executive Committees went to see the Minister of Education, Datuk Hishamuddin with regards to SM SFC. The Executive Committee spoke their minds out about SM SFC deteriorating state and how he could help. Datuk told them I could help you IF you have a STRONG ALUMNI. There you are. So, girls!! Please spread this news to other Ex-Franciscans. Register yourself as a member of Ex-Franciscans today! Please give your support. The Alumni webpage can be found in this link. kalu lah sia school sana dulu...definitely sia pi register sudah. It's a pity kan, a lot of the former students not yet register with this alumni.
