(Note: Outdated post)
I am so proud of myself today. I took one day leave and I made full use of it. Firstly, after sending my little boy to school, I make my way to see dad at home. Dad gave me all the necessary documents to renew the trading license. Then, I headed to the District Office. Met with an old friend, Alicetine Ann. She helped me with form and xeroxed my necessary documents. Thanks Alice!
After that, I met hubby at the workshop to service our car. Hubby left earlier. After having the car serviced, I gave my little aunt, Noveane, a buzz on where we should meet up for lunch. She said she would be free at 1pm. I glanced at the clock in the car and I was 1 hour away from 1 pm. So, I decided to go and see dad at home.
I went online to check my emails and blog hopping at the same time. Chatted with dad before heading to SCC to fetch my aunt, Noveane. We had lunch at the newly opened Sri Penampang. Restaurant belongs to me mum's sister. Met my cousin, Sabrina and her kids and also Mama and uncle. After lunch, then I remember mum called asking me to visit my maternal grandma's sister who has been discharged from the hospital.
I made my way to SMK Bahang and found the house (it was my 1st time there). I ascended the stairs and met my aunt, Doreen S. Aunty directed me to nenek's room. She was awake and she was glad to see me. My heart breaks to see nenek's condition. She was diagnosed with throat cancer and the doctors removed her voice box. Poor nenek. She signaled to me that she is in pain. I felt helpless. I just held her hands tightly and tried to hold myself together. It was really heart breaking to see her. But it is comforting to know that her will to live is very strong. I offer her my prayers. I chatted with aunty Doreen and aunty Rosalind.
After my visit to my grandaunt, I then made my way to TM Point in Tanjung Aru to settle my bills. On my way, I called linachu to meet up. We met at the Brass Monkey at Tanjung Aru Plaza. Linachu was my classmate in SBPS before and after more than a decade, we still keep in touch. We chatted for 2 hours (mind you, so many things to catch up). She was a lecturer before she decided to run her own business. She's doing pretty great and I wish her all the best.
Then, I went to pick up my little boy at his school and went straight home. Felt great.
