September 2008

The month of September was quite an exciting month.
I was caught up work until I haven't got the time to blog.
Some pictures I managed to take.

On the 18 September, my colleagues and I went to Kohinoor for a food testing session.
It was my first time there.

Kohinoor Restaurant at Waterfront

The table setting

The colourful fabric used to intensify the ambience.

Appertizer - Fish Pakora
(pieces of fish dipped in spicy batter, deep fried and served with salad and house chutney)

Khadai Chicken (A wholesome curry dish flavoured with crushed tomatoes, Onions and Capsicum and cooked in thick in thick masala sauce)
Prawn Masal (Prawns cooked in spicy onion based masala gravy)
Aloo Mutter (Pieces of potatoes cooked with cumin seeds with green peas)
Plain Raita (Plain fresh homemade yogurt)

Dessert - Rasgula (White dumplings made of milk and simmered in syrup)

Beverage - Mango Lassi (Flavoured with mango pulp - refreshing and delicious)

I will definitely come back.

On the 16 September, hubby said he wanted to have a massage at this place.

The signboard says it all

I told hubby I need a full body massage as well.
So, Jane, one of the therapists, assigned to massage me while hubby looked after Little S.
I was a bit skeptical that the lady could do a good job.
So, when she asked me whether I would like to have a full body massage or just back massage, I just answered the latter.
So, she started her work and OMG...it was amazing.
I quickly changed my mind and requested her to the a full body traditional massage instead.
No wonder Jari-Jari won the Best Traditional Massage in one of the prestigious awards in KK.
Yup, Jane was working with Jari-Jari before and when her friend invited her to venture into business, she liberated to join.

MIL tried the foot reflexology while FIL tried the full body massage.

They are offering cupping, ear candling among others.

I am the type of person who enjoys organizing a small gathering at our home.
I love to see family members come by and mingle around.
Everyone has their own life and nowadays, without events like Easter, Christmas, birthday parties, we seldom get together hence the steamboat dinner came into the picture.
Normally, I do it on a Friday.
After numerous steamboat dinner I organized, I eventually remembered to capture some photos.
I texted Aunty Sarvinah, Aunty Carol, Aunty Rose to come over for steamboat dinner.
Emeron @ Aboy was in town, so he came over as well.
Imelda (Ben's gf) was around, so she came too.
It was great to see all of them catching up on each other's life.
