Day 1
Currently, we are at Nexus Resort Karambunai having a weekend vacation. We (hubby & I) need a vacation to de-stress (although we brought our kids). It is awesome to know that the internet in the room is free. Yes people, free broadband internet. I know, life without internet is lifeless *giggles*.
We checked in at about 3pm. When we arrived, the staff were very helpful with our bags. Check in was a breeze. Our room is at the ground floor. Very near to Darlin Darlin *wink*. Anyways, hubby and I brought all our kids to the swimming pool. Oh boy! You know how Sean is when it comes to water.
He jumped straight away. Selina was a bit scared and wanted daddy to accompany her. Shayna was already jumping in the stroller wanting to go into the water. Since the water is just 0.5 metres, Sean could just walk from one end to the other. Hubby bumped into an old friend, Kenny and they had a chat leaving me keeping an eye on the kids. Shayna did go into the water. She is one tough kid to deal with. She doesn't want mummy to hold her hand. Geez. Anyways, I managed to order my favourite cocktail, Frozen Margarita since happy hour (5pm - 7pm) offers 50% off. The taste was amazing. I ordered another glass. Kids had their fries and nuggets. After channeling their energy in jumping and walking in the water (they can't swim..yet), they had an appetite of an adult. So, fries and nuggets...now you see and now you don't. I love to see my kids having fun. Makes me feel good.
Just now, we had our dinner at Noble House. The service was excellent. Food was great. We ordered Sweet Corn Soup with Shredded Chicken, Sizzling Beef, Beancurd with Minced Chicken, Butter Prawns, Abalone with Pak Choy and Steamed Chicken. Burp. Excuse me. After dinner, we rambled around Nexus and we found..no...Sean found the Nexie Kid Club. We went inside and found out about the activities for kids. The Club opens from 9am - 9pm. To enroll for the whole day activity, RM20.00 per child is levied. For non-resident, the charge is only RM30.00. Not bad for a whole day activity. If you want to go for one activity only, you need to pay RM6 per activity. Age group is 4-11 years old.
We decide to enroll Sean for tomorrow's (Sunday) activities:
