Eyebrow Embroidery
Wednesday, 12 March 2008
My eyebrows are short and sparse. I used to draw my eyebrow everyday, until I am good at it. My hubby even wanted to help me draw. I first noticed about eyebrow embroidery way back in the late 1990's. But back then it was too expensive. So, late last year I did mine in Wisma Merdeka. The reasons being :-
- more time saving, no need to draw and make it symmetrical (ahaks!)
- won't rub off (with drawing, it happened to me so many times my "artwork" was half erased. So embarrassing!)
- being in the water is no longer an issue
- more natural compared to drawing eyebrow on my own
The process:
- The beautician will draw your eyebrow based on your face shape and your preference
- Then, if you are satisfied, she will use the embroidery pen to start the natural tattooing. Not painful. Well, probably a lil' bit.
- After that, you just need to wait for 5 - 7 days and the part where embroidery was done will start to peel. Make sure you use water to wipe it away.
- You will get a fader colour of your eyebrow which is more natural.
- After one month, you can go back to your beautician and do a touch up. Normally, the beauty saloon will give 2 free touch-ups which is adequate.
