Banking made easy with ONLINE BANKING
Sunday, 28 October 2007
I have been using online banking to do all my banking transactions for many years now. This includes paying all my bills (utility bills such as telephone bill, mobile phone bill, electricity bill and etc), credit card payments (Interbank Transfer), car loan repayment (Interbank Transfer or 3rd Party if I use the same bank) and also my kids insurance (Bill Payment). I am using Maybank2u (very convenient but sometimes waiting for the TAC to be sent to my handphone can be a while), StanChart and Alliance Bank (which I have to say need to be more user friendly). Although there is a minimum charge for every interbank transaction (Maybank2u is charging RM2 per transfer and Alliance Bank is charging RM1 per transfer), I still prefer online banking rather than having to look for a parking space and make your way to the bank and then take a number and wait for your number to appear on the screen. I also convinced my colleague to use online banking as I notice that she always complain on having to take up office hour just to do banking. And now, she just sit comfortably in the office and with just a click on the mouse, she settles all her payments without having to go through any hassles. My next person to convince will be my boss.
