The Devil Wears Prada

I think this is my favourite movie of the year! I love the way Miranda Priestly (played by Meryl Streep) being a very difficult boss and how Andrea "Andy" Sachs (played by Anne Hathaway) handled her demanding boss. I can watch this movie over and over again. The idea of working in a fashion magazine company, working with a difficult and demanding boss, a colleague who acts as if she runs the company and a fashion designer with a good heart are all a great combination for the movie. I was glued to my seat until the movie ends. Only one comment, the boyfriend seriously need a hair cut! That frizzy looking hair has not done any justice to his character. Oh wow! Three movie posts in a day. What was I thinking? Ahaks! Well, I just want to relax my mind a bit as I have done the write up on Budget Proposal for the year 2008. Phew!

I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry

After Shrek the Third, hubby asked me what I wanted to watch by looking at the movie titles he downloaded. I chose "I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry". This movie is about Chuck Levine (Adam Sandler) and Larry Valentine (Kevin James) are veteran FDNY firefighters. Chuck is a womanizer and a self-described whore while Larry is a single father trying to raise a daughter and an effeminate son Eric (Cole Morgen). Because of Larry's sadness and obsession over his wife's death, he ends up not changing the primary beneficiary of his pension from his wife to his children within the deadline. His only option is to marry someone but Larry admits that there is no woman he knows that he would trust with his children's future. So...you have to find out yourself.

Shrek the Third

Hubby turned on his HDD player and played Shrek the Third for our children to watch. Probably, the storyline was quite a bore, the children didn't finish the movie. I ended up watching the movie all by myself (while putting Shayna to sleep). Overall, I could say, nothing beats the first sequel. I know! I am so outdated in movies! Ahaks!

(Taken from Wikipedia)
Shrek the Third is the third film in the series, following ShrekShrek 2. It was produced by Jeffrey Katzenberg for DreamWorks Animation, and is distributed by Paramount Pictures. It was produced with the working title of Shrek 3. Like the first two Shrek films, the movie is significantly based on fairy taleGrimm's Fairy Tales) themes. The film is rated PGMPAA for some crude humor (specifically , suggestive content, and swashbuckling action. Peter Zaslav said in an interview that the Christmas special Shrek the Halls will pick up from where Shrek the Third left off.[6] The film will also be followed by another sequel, Shrek Goes Fourth, which will be released in theatres in 2010.[7] In an interview with Antonio Banderas, a spin-off film entitled Puss in Boots: The Story of an Ogre Killer was confirmed. The spin-off will take place between Shrek the Third and the untitled fifth Shrek film.[8] With a final movie, Shrek 5 in the works.
